Do you know and believe that Jesus Christ is God who came from heaven to shed His precious blood so that you will be saved from your sins? Do not say you are a lovely and good-natured person and have not sinned. That is a deception of the devil. “For we all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Even the sin of Adam passed to us in our genes.

Your goodness, kindness and philanthropy cannot take you to heaven. It is believing in your heart that Jesus died for your sin and confessing it with your mouth that will take you to heaven. “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10). Salvation is free and not attained by your works (goodness, kindness, etc.). Believe today and confess by reading aloud the following prayer:

Heavenly Father, I repent of all my sins and ask Jesus to come into my heart and be my Lord and my saviour. I confess with my mouth that “Jesus is Lord” and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. Lord Jesus, I give myself to you and ask you now to take control of my life. Thank you for saving my soul as I now take on eternal life, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

It is important that after saying this prayer, you find a local church to regularly attend and also get a bible to read the Word of God.
